Reviews:
Iscene (4 stars): "A swirling and fascinating danceperformance about how both violence and love can bind people together (...). The triangular drama is well suited as a physical and wordless stageplay, that is executed splendidly by the team from Holstebro Dance Company." - Trine Wøldiche
Weekendavisen: "Holstebro Dance Company´s interpretation of Strindberg´s The Death Dance is crazy strong dancetheatre (...) It is brilliant that the worndown protagonists of the married couple, the former actress Alice and the retired captain Edgar, are played by two contemporary dancers, who both, with all their life experience and long carreer behind them, now stand at the height of their expressiveness, which, rather the physical virtuosity, is the central aspect of The Death Dance.
The Death Dance is modern dancetheatre, which is understandable for everyone with their senses open. Newcomers to dance can begin here." - Majbrit Hjelmsbo
